Wow! I did it. I finally dove into the blogging ocean… and it feels good! 
“Why today,” you ask…
My motivation came in the form of an Alien Invasion of my home and business yesterday. Yes, I said alien. After much deliberation and research I invested in a true Alien Bee flash unit. It arrived yesterday morning, hot pink and wonderful! Along with the Alien Bee unit, was a heavy duty tripod, a 60″ umbrella and an amazing Paul C. Bluff radio transmitter and receiver to fire the flash. The Alien Bee immediately consumed my mind, and before I knew it, my living room turned into a miniature studio.
My camera shy husband was not looking forward to me “practicing” my new lighting equipment in our living room all evening, so we invited ourselves over to a friend’s house for dinner and photos. Before we knew it, a small party ensued and people were practically begging me to “Take one more picture! Take one more!” After a few hours of fun in the dark, we all went home happy and satisfied.
So, an Alien Bee and it’s evening adventure were my inspiration to finally dive into blogging. Lets hope I can keep my head above water.
